About
I’m a Computer Science student at the University of Bristol, interested in where statistical modelling meets messy real-world data.
Most of what’s on this site comes out of sports betting markets — not because I expect to beat them, but because they’re one of the few places where a prediction gets scored against a hard, public benchmark within days. The closing line doesn’t care how good your model felt.
Right now that means a value-betting research system that devigs sharp prices against 14 soft books, and an independent-Poisson goal model backtested against closing odds. Both track records are published here, including the parts that haven’t worked yet.
Elsewhere I’ve built a full-stack sales analytics system for a small retailer, and worked on radar-based gait recognition with Texas Instruments as client.
